    Position Overview:
    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems and components. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, internal marketing, and outside partners to ensure the successful completion of projects.

    Duties:
    Work with in-house engineers and external partners to design, develop, and test mechanical systems and components using CAD and modeling software and on-site work
    Conduct research to determine the feasibility, design, operation, and performance of mechanical systems
    Create detailed engineering schematics, diagrams, and drawings for new and existing mechanical systems
    Collaborate with other engineers and professionals to analyze project requirements and propose solutions
    Perform calculations and simulations to optimize equipment and system designs and ensure compliance with industry standards
    Test prototypes and conduct experiments to evaluate the performance of mechanical systems
    Troubleshoot issues and provide technical support during the manufacturing process
    Oversee the fabrication, assembly, and installation of mechanical components
    Maintain accurate documentation of design specifications, test results, and project progress

    Required qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering
    Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer with expertise in designing, documenting, and troubleshooting mechanical systems
    Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes
    Experience with engineering software for data analysis and simulation
    Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
    Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
    Experience interacting with customers, vendors, engineers, and other professionals to identify opportunities and solve problems collaboratively
    Ability to work independently
    Strong team player
    Demonstrated commitment to safety
    Ability to travel within the US for product testing, installation, and commissioning activities

    Preferred qualifications:
    Experience with steam and hot water boilers (fire tube and water tube) and related heat transfer/recovery systems
    Experience with combustion systems
    Experience with equipment that produces, stores, consumes, or otherwise operates with pure Hydrogen and/or Oxygen
    Working knowledge of industrial codes and standards relevant to the above
    Familiarity with logic controllers and automation systems
