    Description
    This Simulation Engineer develops and executes the strategic technical plan for Endeavor's rapidly expanding global simulation user base.

    Working with the product development team, global partners and strategic customers, this role is to be a technical leader and executing to a user base across 90+ countries.

    The role will entail supporting and executing the technical strategy, and activating international programs.

    The Simulation Engineer is pro-active, self-motivated, energetic, driven for success and details oriented.

    The candidate will recommend strategies for strengthening the companies' simulation products to realize business objectives, and support the substantial growth.


    Responsibilities:

    • Presales support (e.g. assisting with Simulator demonstrations for the purpose of supporting sales efforts and promoting Endeavor products and services)
    • Product development assistance (e.g. providing input to hardware and software developers on product development, evolution,and roadmapping)
    • Product development QA/ QC (e.g. reviewing code,managing hardware and software configuration, managing product changes, testing software, integrating software, and formulating a release management process)
    • Implementation (e.g. ensuring that Simulator installations are effectively planned and executed on time and on budget, andthat new software releases or hardware upgrades are supported at the client/user level)
    • Reseller and client technical training (e.g. formulating training plans, designing and developing training programs for resellers and their representatives, designing and preparing educational materials for direct teaching and for trainthetrainer sessions
    • Technical support (e.g. answering client/reseller technical questions, providing "help line" or "help desk"assistance at Tier 14 levels, troubleshooting client technical issues)

    The successful candidate will have the following:

    • Bachelor's degree required, business managementor petroleum engineering preferred. Advanced degree preferred, MBA or other master's degree.
    • Typically, 10+ years of oil and gas experience with significant field experience
    • 5+ years in project management.
    • Experienced in training or instruction.
    • Experience serving large multinational Oil and Gas companies with hardware, software, and industrial products.
