    This is a remote position which requires up to 50% travel. Only applicants residing in IL, MI, OH, & PA will be considered.

    THE OPPORTUNITY

    The National Business Consultant is responsible to serve as a sales representative to credit union management/staff and assigned leagues for the suite of CU Solutions Group (CUSG) products. This position focuses on selling to credit unions by presenting the depth of our solutions and advising credit unions of the benefits our products and of working with CUSG.

    THE WORK ITSELF

    • Develop and maintain a strong, effective and professional working relationship with key credit union management and staff in assigned credit union and maintain accurate contact records.
    • Build and maintain relationships to generate leads to inside sales of all CUSG divisions from assigned credit unions, leagues, and clients.
    • Manage all functions related to establishing products at credit unions, including meeting with top level credit union management and staff to present and demonstrate new products and services and work with credit union staff to implement programs.
    • Work with Sales Team to develop and implement strategies for retaining existing business at contract expiration.
    • Provide training to various levels of credit union staff on the CUSG products and services either in person or via webinars.
    • Represent CUSG at assigned conventions and other key conferences.
    • Compiles all client interaction and activity in company CRM system.
    • Establishes and maintains effective and proactive working relations, communication, and coordination with MCUL & Affiliates employees and management.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.
    THE SKILLS YOU BRING

    The Must Haves...
    • Bachelor's degree in business or related field (or relevant years of experience in lieu of education).
    • Minimum of three to five years of previous experience in outside sales.
    • Excellent written, interpersonal, and group communications skills, both over the phone and in person.
    • Strong ability to adapt to change and work requirements.
    • High sense of urgency with an emphasis on customer service.
    • Ability to work independently and effectively with little or no supervision.
    • Strong aptitude for business development.
    • Ability to develop presentations.
    • Strong presentation and persuasion skills in person or virtually.
    • Ability to travel up to 50%.
    • Valid driver's license.

    • Advanced computer skills with work experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
