JOB SUMMARY

KIOTI Tractor, a leader in the design and manufacture of compact tractors, utility vehicles, turf care, and compact construction equipment, is seeking a Database Administrator to join our team onsite in Wendell, NC. The Database Administrator oversees all KIOTI database operations, makes recommendations based on best practices for security and performance, and implements them accordingly. Additionally, the Database Administrator will work with the IT Supervisor, vendors, and other IT staff to maximize uptime and database performance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF JOB

Maintains company-owned databases.
Documents solutions to known issues.
Automates routine task.
Responsible for patching and upgrading database servers as required.
Ensure functionality of failover capabilities.
Mentors junior level database staff in database related subjects.
Optimizes databases' performance.
Ensures and tests reliability of database backups.
Audits databases for integrity

EDUCATIONAL AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Skills:

Extensive knowledge of SQL language.
Extensive knowledge MS SQL server.
Familiar with configuring high availability feature on SQL Servers
Familiar with Database migrations
Knowledgeable in VBA
Familiar with ERP software

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
Minimum 3 years' experience as a Database Administrator.
