    POSITION OVERVIEW:


    This role will primarily focus on building and deploying custom emails that look great on every device in support of promotional campaigns, drip campaigns, event emails, and more.

    This person will be is responsible for the email customer experience for the millions of users in our client's Loyalty program, their most valuable customers.

    The email program requires advanced segmenting to meet the legal requirements in every state.


    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Manage projects with many moving parts and across teams (design, merchandising, email, data analytics)Convert email designs into custom & personalized HTML emails that render and function correctly across multiple email clientsMaintain and adhere to production schedules to ensure campaigns are produced and delivered on timeTranslate email send criteria into SQL queries to segment send lists and personalize email contentConduct A/B tests + interpret resultsProvide reporting using excel and SQLFollow email best practices related to design, messaging, segmenting, and building


    JOB REQUIREMENTS:


    4+ years marketing experienceBachelor's degree from four-year College or universityAdvanced-level experience in HTML, CSS, and Ampscript (or other dynamic scripting languages) for coding highly dynamic and personalized marketing content.

    High-level proficiency with relational database architecture and SQL for list segmenting, aggregating customer-level insights.
    Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (or other enterprise level Marketing SAAS Platform)

    Understanding of email marketing best practices including targeting and A/B testing; knowledge of deliverability/inboxing, sender score/reputation, CAN-SPAM regulations a plusExperience with quality assurance processes + extreme attention to detailAbility to problem-solve and improve processesTrack record of executing high-volume email campaigns in a fast-paced environment with a high-degree of accuracySuperior ability to hit hard deadlinesPreferred :
