- Minimum three years of experience in electronic components procurement.
- Proficient understanding of MRP and material planning processes.
- Familiarity with master scheduling in manufacturing processes is advantageous.
- strong analytical and negotiation skills with a diplomatic approach.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel (including Pivot Tables).
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and listening skills with acute attention to detail and the ability to make informed decisions promptly.
- Analyze MRP requirements and procure electronic materials, hardware, equipment, and services to meet customer needs efficiently.
- Solicit quotes, assess bids, negotiate prices, establish delivery schedules, and place purchase orders following company protocols.
- Collaborate with manufacturing process engineers to obtain component costs for new quotations based on customer-supplied BOMs.
- Oversee supplier delivery and quality performance, taking corrective actions when necessary, and support vendor certification initiatives.
- Resolve procurement discrepancies by liaising with suppliers, finance, receiving, and manufacturing departments.
- Develop and execute inventory strategies to support operations and cash flow management, including coordinating cycle counts for inventory accuracy.
