gpac, a 30 year recruitment company, is partnering with a well-established manufacturing company in Boston, MA metropolitan area. We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join their team and contribute to their continued success. As a CNC Programmer, you will be responsible for programming and operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce high-quality metal parts and components.
Responsibilities:
Program and set up CNC machines using 3D CAD and/or SolidWorks
Utilize basic machine and CAD experience to ensure accurate and efficient production
Fabricate parts according to technical drawings and blueprints
Troubleshoot and resolve any technical or logistical issues that may arise during production
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing processes and improve quality Essential
Job Functions:
Proficient in operating CNC machines and programming turret punches
Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and Bill of Materials (BOMs)
Conduct regular maintenance and calibration of CNC machines
Perform quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications and adhere to quality standards
Maintain documentation and records of production activities
Skills:
Minimum 5 years of experience in 3D CAD and/or SolidWorks
Experience in Aerospace Industry a plus
Proficiency in MS Office Suite
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
