    GTN is seeking a highly skilled Engineering Manager to lead our engineering department in executing process engineering projects using industry best practices.

    We require candidates with an engineering degree and authorization to work in the United States, with relocation assistance available.

    Essential Job Functions:

    Leadership:
    Lead, coach, and hold accountable a team of engineers, fostering continuous improvement and a culture of excellence.

    Project Management:


    Develop comprehensive capital project plans, manage budgets, and oversee multiple projects to ensure safety, efficiency, and adherence to deadlines and budgets.


    Profitability Improvement:
    Identify and implement projects to enhance profitability in line with company objectives.

    Problem-Solving:
    Drive knowledge sharing and root cause analysis across the organization, ensuring effective communication between departments.

    Vendor Management:
    Ensure vendors and contractors meet quality standards and contribute effectively to production.

    Compliance:
    Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards, and report departmental results to the Chief Technical Officer (CTO).

    Employee Management:
    Conduct performance assessments, manage employee leave requests, and participate in hiring processes.

    Team Environment:
    Foster a positive, collaborative work environment conducive to innovation and learning.

    Additional Duties:
    Undertake tasks assigned by the CTO, maintain confidentiality, and uphold regulatory compliance.

    Minimum Requirements:
    Bachelor of Science degree or higher in Engineering (Chemical Engineering preferred) from an accredited institution.
    8 years of operations experience in large-scale industrial, continuous process manufacturing, preferably with ethanol manufacturing experience.
    5 years of capital project management experience, with preference for Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
    3 years of supervisory/leadership experience.
    Authorization to work in the U.S. not solely dependent on a student visa or third-party employer sponsorship.

    Skills/Abilities Required:
    Strong leadership skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
    Proven ability to manage large capital projects effectively.
    Excellent interpersonal, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
    Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
    Knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations for construction and manufacturing.

    Physical Requirements:
    Ability to perform various physical tasks, including walking, standing, bending, lifting, and confined space entry.
    Comfort working around industrial equipment and substances, and willingness to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
    Ability to differentiate colors, communicate via radio, and respond to emergencies on a 24/7 basis.
