    The Role:

    Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, the QA Supervisor is responsible for supporting the QA Manager in the oversight of all QA activities.

    This is a hands-on role, responsible for leading and directing the Quality Assurance team.

    Position will work closely with the QA Manager in the planning, directing, and coordination of activities to prepare and implement programs that ensure compliance with Company quality processes, procedures, and ISO 9001:2015 certification requirements.


    Responsibilities:

    Will provide leadership and direction in support of the QA teamAssign tasks to the QA InspectorsPerform quality checks on components and assembliesPerform and document inspections, checks and testsVerify compliance of 5SReview specifications and inspect incoming materials to ensure conformanceTrain inspectors on proper documentation and inspection techniquesWork with QA Manager to create quality plans and proceduresGenerate and maintain quality records, reports, and logsCoordinates with engineering team to review, validate, and approve BOM's prior to release to purchasing / manufacturingPerform defect analysis utilizing experience in statistical quality process analytical methodsEnsure calibrated tools being used meet the accuracy, range, calibration, etc.

    requirementsMaintain all QA toolsCommunicate and resolve QA issues with inspectors and technicians on a day-to-day basisParticipate in the hiring process by reviewing credentials, conducting interviews, and making decisionsResolve personnel problems, issues, or concerns, escalating to the manager level, and/or Human Resources as neededAssess training needs of staff and arrange for or provide appropriate instructionEnsures team works in a in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practicesGenerate reports for management and cross functional teams as neededPerforms other duties and responsibilities within the scope of the role as assigned

    Qualifications/Skills:
    Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field preferredTechnical training and equivalent work experience and education may be substituted for the degreeFive years' related experience in a manufacturing environmentTwo years' experience in a leadership role requiredExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently and within a team

    $65,000 - $70,000
