• Creating assembly models, assembly drawings, bills of materials, and managing engineering changes
• Designing experiments and conducting engineering validation tests
• Executing and documenting tests
• Developing tools and jigs to support production processes
• Translating marketing requirements into product specifications
• Implementing design for manufacturing and assembly
• Performing tolerance analysis
• Ensuring product safety compliance including CE & FDA regulations
• Managing the product development phase gate process and full product life cycle
• Engaging directly with customers
• Utilizing Solidworks extensively
• Overseeing project management

• Product development
• Mechanical design
• Tolerance analysis

• Zemax
• FMEA
• APQP

• Mechanical design, with a strong preference for optomechanical experience
• Minimum of 10 years of experience
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, preferably mechanical or optomechanical, or a related field

• Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) tools, specifically Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA)
• Conducting Highly Accelerated Life Testing (HALT) to validate designs
• Experience with Zemax for optical modeling
• Development of medical devices
