Job is seeking to hire a Warehouse Equipment Operator for our client in Nashville, TN

Pay Rate - $25/hr

1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

Job Description
Operate industrial trucks or machinery in a warehouse, storage yard, factory, construction site, or similar location. Responsible for the operation of heavy machinery to safely move product load around the facility. Typically has a high school diploma, a forklift operators' license and experience in a production environment. This may or may not be true with other heavy machinery operators. The technical skills include the ability to transport production materials and goods.

Education/Experience
o High school diploma or GED required
o 2-4 years manufacturing experience required

Responsibility level
o Exercises moderate independent judgment with direction from supervisor

Skills
o Verbal communication skills, attention to detail, team player and problem solving skills (Required)
o Basic knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods (Required)


Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
o Inspect product load for accuracy and safely move it around the warehouse or facility to ensure timely and complete delivery
o Move controls to drive vehicles and transport materials between loading, processing and storage areas
o Move levers and controls that operate lifting devices, such as forklifts and hoists, to load, unload, transport and stack material
o Manually or mechanically load and unload materials from pallets, skids and boxes and secure materials or products for transport to designated areas


Must Haves:
o Previous experience in logistics/transportation preferably in air and small parcel shipping
o Proficient at basic MS suite such as Excel
o Self-driven, problem-solver, good communication skills, and ability to work independently #ZR
