    Position Summary:


    Lead day-to-day operations of a Clinton production department to produce high quality products that provide value to customers and a return to shareholders.

    Require safety and compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations.
    Utilize assets efficiently to meet production and quality goals.
    Manage department in keeping with established policies, procedures and plant priorities.
    Lead department in a manner that results in a cohesive, focused, positive climate to achieve organizational goals.
    Provide guidance to operating supervisors and technical support personnel to achieve short term and long term department performance.
    Manage costs and continuously focus on efficiency improvement.
    Assure training and development of all department employees.

    Promotes the ADM Way and Core ValuesAbility to manage a diverse teamAble to communicate with all levels of the organizationBS in Engineering or equivalent experience5+ years of experience in major engineering role or leadership role in major process related position - preferably at Clinton plantStrong understanding of process control systems and other computer systemsExcellent leadership ability including a vision for future direction and ability to lead others in work executionOutstanding written and verbal communication skillsExcellent planning and organizational skillsProven track record as a team playerHigh energy level and clear customer focus emphasisAbility to develop and maintain relationships to enable the achievement of results over time

    Physical Requirements:
    Ability to walk long distances and perform work in an industrial setting
