    WSP is currently initiating a search for a Fare Collection Procurement Specialist for our Baltimore, MD office.

    Your Impact

    • Developing and conducting Requests for Bids, Requests for Proposals, Requests for Information, Requests for Quotations, and Multi-Step Solicitations for fare collection services, and maintenance contracts;
    • Administering and managing service contract, insuring compliance with all specifications;
    • Recommending approval of invoices for payment against contracts, insuring compliance with all specifications.;
    • Recommending cures for defective performance and termination of contracts when necessary;
    • Delivering projects to required scope, quality, timescale and budget;
    • Prepare and submit progress reports to senior management and to the client when required;
    • Travel to customer sites to gain an understanding of project requirements and perform required services;
    • Create and provide presentations of revenue collection systems designs to customers;

    Who You Are

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
    • 12+ of procurement experience
    • Certificated Professional Public Buyer;
    • Demonstrated ability to meet schedules and multi-tasks across multiple projects;
    • Strong mathematical, analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills;
    • Takes responsibility and accountability for ensuring the project produces required results to the scope, milestones, quality and budget;
    • Good verbal and written communication skills;
    • Immediate availability to work in the US; and
    • Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of applications.
    • Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures
    • Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP's health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies

    Preferred Qualifications

    • The successful candidate will have 10+ years experience in all aspects of procurement and contract administration, training and policy development
