    Job Description

    The Commissary Maintenance position is responsible for repairing and maintaining all of the equipment in the Commissary.

    Essential Duties/Responsibilities (Supervisory bolded):
    • Provides general maintenance of the Commissary equipment
    • Repairs production equipment
    • Maintain facility
    • May assist in other areas as needed
    Education/experience:
    • Ability to work well in a team environment, as well as individually
    • High motivation level
    • Ability to effectively communicate with others
    • Ability to read
    • Knowledge of repairing general equipment
    • Previous experience in electrical and mechanical repairs
    Certification/licenses/registrations: None

    Language Skills:
    • English required
    Physical demands:
    • Ability to sit, stand, walk, talk, listen, bend, and stoop
    • May be required to lift and/or move up to 60 pounds
    • Ability to operate and repair equipment
    • Ability to work long hours, including nights and weekends as required to meet production needs
    Work environment:
    • Will involve working in a food processing environment
    • Conditions include areas that may be wet, dry, hot, refrigerated, as well as freezer areas
