    Description

    Role - Sr. Full Stack Java Developer

    Location- Durham NC

    Hybrid - 5 days onsite a month

    Must Have - Java, Angular, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes

    *REQUIRED SKILLS*

    Looking for an end-to-end Full Stack Engineer with good communication and leadership capabilities:

    1) Strong communication, ability to lead a technical development team (must be 100% hands-on, this is not a people manager role)

    2) Must have current hands-on experience developing single page web applications from scratch in Angular 8+

    3) Java/Spring Boot (developing cloud hosted REST services in current project)

    4) Docker/Kubernetes (must have experience with containerization in current project)

    5) AWS (must have hands-on experience with all major services within AWS - must be using in current project)

    6) CI/CD pipelines : need to have some exposure to building Jenkins pipelines (okay if they're not an expert)

    The Expertise and Skills You Have

    • A degree in a Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related subject area.
    • 8+ years proven experience as full stack software developer, building enterprise web and middle tier applications using Angular and core Java with Spring/Springboot, REST Services
    • Current, hands-on experience developing single page web applications from scratch in Angular 8+
    • Solid knowledge in developing cloud-hosted REST services in Java/Spring Boot that integrate seamlessly with multiple UI app tiers (legacy and modern).
    • Proven experience with developing and deploying applications to cloud using technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS cloud deployment/application management
    • Self-starter and Self-sufficient developer able to work independently under minimum supervision and own the outcome of delivering high value solutions.
    • Strong communications and problem-solving skills.
    • Experience with unit testing and test automation libraries/strategies.
    • Experience with Angular is a plus.
    • Experience building and deploying applications using continuous integration pipelines and automated deployment tools such as Jenkins Core and Terraform.
    • Experience using source control and pull requests for collaborative development in code repository tools such as GitHub.
    • Develop high quality, maintainable software solutions in an agile environment to meet functional and non-functional business requirements.
    • Participate in all facets of the delivery process.
