    Role Description

    We are seeking a dynamic and creative UX/UI Designer to join our Global Communications Team.

    As a UX/UI Designer, you will play a key role in enhancing the user experience of our internal communication platforms and tools.

    You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that our employees' digital experience is intuitive, engaging, and aligned with the company's goals.

    You should be highly organized yet adaptable given the fast-paced, often changing nature of the work.

    Projects can widely vary in terms of scope and complexity, so a strong foundation in UX principles is key to successfully navigating the range of creative requests you will be asked to fulfill.

    You should be comfortable working alongside Senior Designers and Art Directors on larger initiatives, while also working independently as the team's sole UX/UI designer.

    Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:


    User Research and Analysis - conduct user research to understand the needs, preferences, and pain points of internal stakeholders while analyzing user feedback, behavior, and data to identify opportunities for improvement.

    Design and Prototyping - create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that align with established UX design principles. Work closely with senior designers to translate concepts into functional and visually appealing interfaces.
    Collaboration and Communication - collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and internal comms teams. Clearly communicate design concepts and rationales to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    Usability Testing - plan and conduct usability testing to validate design decisions and gather insights for iterative improvements. Iterate designs based on feedback and testing results to continuously enhance the UX.

    Maintain Design Systems - contribute to the development and maintenance of design systems that ensure consistency across internal comms platforms.

    Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to incorporate into design processes.

    Minimum Requirements

    The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of Figma as well as functional understanding of the Adobe CC suite
    1-3 years experience professional experience as a UX/UI designer or product designer
    Excellent communication and collaboration skills
    Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
    Strong portfolio showcasing projects related to UX design, preferably in internal communication or collaboration tools.

    Pursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance and the Los Angeles Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring, Salesforce will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.

    For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $87,200 to $119,900.

    Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
