    A Hybrid Project Controller / Scheduler job is currently available at Belcan in Cincinnati, OH This is a full time, direct job with full benefits.

    Great matching candidates will have 3-5+ years of scheduling experience using Microsoft Project.

    Project Controller/Master Scheduler job duties:

    Project Pre-Work Phase:
    o Coordinate internal requirements with Engineering, Operations, and Internal Trades - area preparations, equipment salvage, moves, protecting Assets, etc.
    o Support estimating - pre-design Order of Magnitude
    o Design Review meetings participation (DCR, CDR, PDR, DDR)
    o Support Post Design Cost Estimate

    Project Controls:


    o Responsible for creating and maintaining multiple technical project schedules; understands how each schedule relates to another using IMS guidelines regarding the following: resource loading, critical path, program milestones and how these affect the entire schedule.

    o Contributes to and understands the design and setup of the project: Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), Organization Breakdown Structure (OBS), the creation/assignment of codes needed, tasks, assignments, durations, and linkages.

    o Evaluates project timelines, deadlines, and budget, identifying potential delays and overruns and facilitating intervention.

    o Lead meetings to perform schedule status updates; updating progress on tasks, performing task additions/removals, and linkage updates as needed.

    o Schedule and lead Weekly Project Meetings - as approved by Project Leader
    o Publish Meeting Minutes
    o Request For Information (RFI) Management
    o Submittal Management
    o Field Instructions and Change Orders Management
    o Change Order cost estimates - verify change order amounts.
    o Provide Schedule Oversight - multiple contractors, suppliers, internal trades, factory reps.
    o Coordinate with Trades as approved by Project Leader.
    o Cost tracking of project

    Project Oversight and Verification:
    o Oversee activities - Visits per day to be determined by Project Leader

    Project Closeout Process:
    o Develop punch lists and track to completion.

    o Produce project manuals, including PO"s, contracts, Operation & Maintenance (O&M) manuals, spare parts lists, warranties, submittals, RFI"s, meeting minutes and final cost report.

    o Support Box Project Folder Closeout - meeting, metrics, digital record, supplier performance ratings, etc.

    Qualifications:

    • Education: Bachelor's degree in a recognized engineering field from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
    • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of project scheduling experience. Experience with more than one scheduling software is a plus. Knowledge of industry standard practices and project organization.
    • Strong Project Management experience with technical background.
    • Extremely organized with strong attention to detail.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to interact with technical community.
    • Self-starter, but capable of working with team. Ability to take ownership of your work and the overall success of the program you are supporting.
    • After an initial training period, a hybrid option will be available
    • Due to the nature of the work being done all applicants must be U.S. Citizen

    Compensation:
    We provide a competitive pay and benefits package.

    This position is offering a salary of $72,800-87,360 however Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
