    JOB SUMMARY:
    Brice is seeking detail oriented, well organized, dependable Environmental Engineer (and related majors) interns to join our team.

    This opportunity requires strict adherence to health and safety procedures, attention to detail, strong work ethic, and excellent communication skills, as well as a strong orientation towards a career in environmental consulting upon graduation.

    Personal initiative and critical thinking skills are essential to complete job duties with minimal guidance.

    Assignments are deadline driven so must be able to set priorities, work efficiently and provide a consistent quality product in a team environment.


    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
    Support environmental engineering teams on site investigations and remediation efforts.
    Adhere to schedule and quality objectives to achieve project goals.
    Support specialized data collection methods employed in site surveys and investigations.


    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
    General understanding of OSHA laws and site safety procedures.
    Willingness to implement OSHA laws and safety procedures at the job site.
    General understanding of the environmental engineering field.
    Ability to work in a team environment.


    QUALIFICATIONS
    High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
    Currently enrolled in an accredited college
    Current studies in environmental sciences required.
    40-hour Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) certificate is required; Company will provide training.
    A broad understanding of federal, state and local environmental regulations is a plus.
    Experience with Health and Safety functions is a plus.


    WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
    Predominantly field assignments outdoors, which may require several weeks in remote locations.
    The majority of the field work will occur during the summer, May through August.
    Outdoor conditions may be subject to changes in weather conditions and noise levels.

    May require travel in aircraft, motor vehicles, ATVs and/or watercraft for periods of days to weeks, generally in remote locations.

    Must be willing and able to travel and work long hours to support rigorous timelines.
    Part-time position with potential for irregular hours.
