    Our Workplace business unit offers multiple food program solutions to meet our clients' needs.

    Position OverviewThe Assistant Hospitality Manager will help to run the values-driven employee food program that we have built by overseeing our FOH teams at our client location.

    It is a great job for someone who is organized, communicative, patient, and loves people.

    You will lead efforts in constantly improving our food program, staying connected to the client community, and working with our program management team to implement changes and new systems.

    You will be our lifeline to the program and eyes and ears when we're not there. You'll lead a small team and be asked to problem solve and trust your gut daily. We are a growing start up with purpose and values and proud of it.
    ResponsibilitiesSupport in oversight of meals, snacks, drinks, and our delightful front of house team.
    Work closely with Hospitality Manager to create a culture of hospitality through your sunny disposition and the Fare way. Act as the main point of contact when the Workplace Hospitality Manager is not onsite at client communities.
    Oversee meal service set-up/breakdown, onsite food execution, food presentation, and transportation/delivery at multiple clients accounts.
    Problem solve any onsite issues with the front of the house team while onsite at client communities.
    Ensure proper recording of client participation, leftovers, and waste for consumption management. Oversee the recording of leftovers through proper heating, cooling in order to safely repurpose food or donate surplus to CBO partnersMaintain and develop high standards for organization and cleanliness in the kitchen, storage, office and dining roomManage and produce client facing menus and signage for all offerings, including verifying allergens, and ingredientsEngage, educate and develop relationships with our client communities Support opening and closing duties at HQ and client locationsContinually work with us to develop and improve our food program, especially through tangible systems and processesQualifications & Requirements3+ years experience in a professional hospitality environment with a passion for food & peoplePositive attitude, strong work ethic, communication & patienceBasic culinary skills and techniques (finishing/plating)Attendance and punctuality is required Ability to be a self-sufficient problem solver and make sound decisions on-the-fly Strong understanding of professional catering service etiquetteFun to be around Good knowledge of local food products, producers and farmsHungry to grow within a startup Extremely organized and disciplinedBig picture thinker with ability to multitaskBasic computer skills (docs, spreadsheets, google docs, etc.) Valid Driver's License & Reliable Transportation (Preferred)Manager level Food Handler CertificationCompensation & BenefitsCell Phone StipendFull time employees receive Health, dental, and vision insurance and Paid Time Off (PTO) AccrualsAll employees 401K (retirement account)

    Schedule & ExpectationsTypical schedule is Monday through Friday with hours dependent on the service. You are responsible for managing your schedule, based on your shift availability, with your supervisor.
