    The Academy of Lake Hills North

    The Academy of Lake Hills North, in beautiful Howey-in-the-Hills, is dedicated to providing a nurturing environment for students in grades K-6 who face behavioral and mental health challenges.

    In addition to academic instruction, our therapeutic, ESE special day school focuses on positive behavior supports and intensive interventions, helping students navigate their emotions and build the skills necessary for a safe and successful transition back to their general education setting.

    The Academy North is looking for empathetic and flexible staff members who are committed to supporting our students unconditionally. Our team is trained in traumainformed instruction, verbal de-escalation, and effective teaching methods specifically designed for our student population.
