Location: Reno, NV plant
The Maintenance Manager role involves planning, organizing, and overseeing plant maintenance functions, such as engineering, planning, mechanical/electrical leads, technicians, and inventory management to increase overall equipment availability. As the head of the Maintenance Department, the Manager reports directly to the Plant Manager.
What You'll Do:
• Lead the annual maintenance budget development and manage spending efficiently
• Drive continuous improvement and integration of the Company's maintenance management system into daily operations
• Provide guidance to maintenance personnel and ensure a safe facility
• Develop plans to enhance maintenance efficiency and minimize downtime occurrences
• Implement reporting systems to track progress and identify improvement areas across manufacturing systems
• Collaborate with Production Manager to minimize disruptions during maintenance activities
• Identify root causes of downtime incidents and suggest operational enhancements
• Enhance maintenance and operational procedures for optimal performance
• Supervise plant interactions to ensure work quality and customer satisfaction
The position entails developing, implementing, and sustaining a predictive and preventative maintenance system, organizing job plans, managing work orders, maintaining workflow processes, and ensuring equipment and material history is recorded.
The Manager will also oversee career development and training for the Maintenance Department to keep technicians updated with new technologies and certifications.
