    Description

    The primary focus is to perform all functions necessary for the safe, secure and accurate receipt, storage, and retrieval of inventory and non-inventory materials. Interpret various order inputs and computer instructions to accurately pick, pack, and ship customer orders.

    Essential Duties:

    Each job function is not a requirement of each employee, but all job functions are a requirement of the position and/or department.

    • Interpret warehouse control system (WCS) computer commands and execute directed activities such as inventory put away and order fulfilment
    • Perform accurate inventory transactions by executing scanning of bar codes
    • Initiate and comprehend computer instructions and handle exceptions
    • Relocate material physical from/to various locations using material handling equipment
    • Sign inbound freight bills noting damages and/or discrepancies
    • Work on a raised storage platform picking parts, placing them into totes and placing on a mechanical conveyor
    • Validate partial orders picked and consolidate into a master order when necessary
    • Operate shipping manifest station (Varsity) to confirm shipment, create shipping labels and tracking numbers
    • Assume responsibility for inventory for inventory accuracy, as well as order pick accuracy
    • Operate advanced material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner
    • Prepare Bill of Lading (BOL) for outbound truck and LTL shipments
    • Create necessary commercial documents for international shipments
    • Process return goods per standard operating procedures
    • Assist with physical inventory activities
    • Perform cycle count activities
    • Operate mechanical packaging machines
    • Execute Bill of Material (BOM) functionality
    • Maintain various logs of package parts operations
    • Perform special tasks and assignments as required by management and supervisory personnel
    What We Are Looking For:
    • Minimum of high school education/GED, plus at least one year of experience in a in a fast-paced manufacturing assembly or distribution environment is required.
    • Ability to work overtime, off shifts, and weekends as needed is required
    • Good oral/written communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment is required
    • A demonstrated willingness for continual learning and skill development is required.

    • Ability to occasionally lift up to lbs.
