Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian to lead the Clinical Nutrition program at Las Palmas Medical Center in El Paso, Texas.

Las Palmas is an acute care facility in a 327 bed trauma center including neonatal intensive care; pediatrics, oncology, wound management and a free standing 40 bed rehab hospital.

Sodexo offers:

The position will report to General Manager and ideal candidate will:

• Oversee the clinical areas of the hospital
• Prior experience with critical care and nutritional support is preferred.
• Be responsible for ensuring all clinical nutrition programs are in compliance with state, TJC/CMS regulations.
• Have oversight responsibility in conjunction with the Sodexo General Manager and client team for patient food services

• Have prior experience in a union environment is a plus.
• Bilingual in Spanish candidate preferred but not required to assist with patient population

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement:
Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) (Note: For those seeking registration after 2023, this must be a master's degree)

Basic Management Experience: 7+ months general supervision

Basic Functional Experience: 3 years experienced specialized practitioner in a clinical specialty


Credentials Requirement:

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR);

* certification/ licensure as required by state(s) of practice; specialty credential in area(s) of focused practice, as applicable
