    The

    Cybersecurity Analyst

    is responsible for safeguarding BluSky's digital assets by ensuring sensitive data's integrity, confidentiality, and availability.

    This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to assess security risks, develop, and implement security measures, and respond to security incidents.

    The Cybersecurity Analyst is a passionate technology risk professional with deep knowledge of technical security controls and regulations and is experienced in threat detection, analysis, and reporting with security management platforms.

    This role requires an understanding of cybersecurity principles, a record of accomplishment, strong analytical skills, and the ability to navigate complex security challenges in a cloud-first environment.

    The

    Cybersecurity Analyst

    will take ownership of the cybersecurity program and drive it to operational maturity, creating policies, measures, and accountability.

    This is a remote position, reporting to the Director of IT Operations and Services, but will work extensively with other IT team members, departments, leaders, and vendors to support a rapidly growing enterprise.

    Salary Range is

    $90,000 $125,000

    PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Monitor and analyze the organization's security posture and report on threats, breaches, and security weaknesses.
    Reviews of security threats and detections across multiple service layers (endpoints, systems, networking, cloud).
    Manage security configurations within systems and services to align to company security requirements.
    Lead the incident response process, including investigating and reporting security incidents.
    Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments and actively manage the vulnerability lifecycle.
    Conduct security reviews and audits of current and future technologies and vendors
    Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and guidelines following regulatory requirements.
    Develop countermeasures to pursue an aggressive enterprise security posture.
    Manage the delivery of security awareness training and promote a culture of security-conscious behavior within the organization.
    Design and deliver periodic reports on threats, incidents, and other maturity indicators.
    Stay current with emerging security trends, threats, and technologies.

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
    This role has no direct reports.

    QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
    Knowledge of NIST Cybersecurity Framework and CIS Security Controls.
    Experience conducting and or participating in risk assessment audits with common control frameworks like CIS and NIST.
    Experience in SOC/SIEM operations with log aggregation and analysis.
    Proficiency in using vulnerability evaluation and management tools.
    Experience creating and managing risk policies for EDR, IdP, and DLP.
    Process fundamental understanding of endpoint technologies, networking, cloud computing, and software development.
    Understand security incidents, including malware, network reconnaissance, and emerging threats.
    Strong problem-solving, priority-setting, facilitation, multi-tasking, analytical, and collaboration skills.
    Experienced working remotely with dispersed teams and vendors.

    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
    Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
    Minimum of 3 years' experience in an IT infrastructure or cyber security role.

    Prefer one or more recognized information security certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Security+, CySA+, etc.
