Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity to provide technical design for both small- and large-scale bridge projects.A Bachelor's Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering or closely related discipline.,5 to 7 years of relevant post education experience in engineering discipline and prior structural or civil design experience.,Engineer in Training Certification; preferably in North Carolina or ability to obtain NC PE.,Proficient knowledge of structural engineering principles practices process design/build application project work-related issues.Project management experience with small to mid-level projects including tracking hours expenses for project work.,Effective interpersonal communication skills when interacting with others expressing ideas effectively professionally engineer non-engineering audience.Highly capable self-leadership attention detail multi-tasking prioritization responsibilities dynamic work environment.Ability work independently provide guidance leadership junior team project members strict adherence QA/QC.Moderate proficiency technical writing office automation software technology math principles physics predictive models spreadsheets tools.Experience discipline-specific design software i.e MicroStation OpenBridge MDX etc.math principles spreadsheets tools.Developed critical thinking problem-solving skills required apply technical knowledge reach conclusions testing results data collation statistical analysis arriving most effective economical logical solution.Ability assertively direct others field subcontractors clients consistently complete tasks safely efficiently.Proven track record upholding workplace safety able abide WSP health safety drug/alcohol harassment policies Ability work schedules conducive project-specific requirements extend typical week.Occasional travel may required depending project-specific requirements.
- Bachelor's Degree in Structural Civil Engineering closely related discipline.
- 5 to 7 years relevant post education experience engineering discipline prior structural civil design experience.
