**Shared Capabilities, Service Reliability & Operations** group is seeking a **Delivery Manager** to join our team in Toronto. This is a key technical role that will lead and empower a skilled technical team of individuals toward delivering enterprise technology solutions. This team delivers Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) for products in the Thomson Reuters Shared Capabilities space focused on developing and delivering shared Services and Platforms, that are used by other Thomson Reuters products teams this includes partnering with architects and developers to build reliable and scalable software applications, as well as delivering excellence across operational practices (e.g. change and incident management).

**About the Role**

In this opportunity as a ***Delivery Manager,*** you will:

Manage day-to-day operational processes to enable application development velocity while ensuring 24x7 product availability, reliability, and performance

Manage operational readiness activities for new features/applications in partnership with technology and business colleagues

Act as the management escalation point for issues in the teams product portfolio

Drive implementation of application infrastructure and tooling to optimize day-to-day operational effort

Provide technical direction to team members and thought leadership across the teams projects and responsibilities

Articulate complex problems, concepts, and solutions to varied audiences

Performance and people management of direct reports including resource management and talent development

Foster an empowered team environment that encourages trust, innovation, and partnership; drive decision making with a focus on the customer

Foster a continuous learning culture and curiosity about emerging technologies

Work in a fast-paced environment and motivated by complex technical and business challenges

**About You**

You're a fit for the role of ***Delivery Manager*** if you have:

Bachelors degree or equivalent required, Computer Science or related technical degree preferred

7 years of relevant experience in software development, architecture, and/or technology leadership

Proven ability to set direction and inspire team members to engage and deliver on a vision

Broad understanding of technology stacks used to build Shared Services and Platforms in the cloud (Containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Istio service mesh, AWS and Azure technologies, Distributed logging: ELK, DataDog, SumoLogic, CloudWatch)

Proven experience in building & delivering Cloud Native apps and services, including, design & implementation of Automation, Observability, High availability, and Security controls

Proven experience in operating and hosting production-grade cloud-native applications preferably with Amazon Web Services

Hands-on experience with programming and scripting languages preferred (Linux/Unix Shell scripts, Windows scripts, Python, Yaml, Terraform, or develop with other programming languages)
