Operators play a vital role in our manufacturing process and can be placed in a variety of process areas. Some Operators in Ducommun are programming and operating Wave and Selective Solder or our Wash machines. Our solder machines solder through hole components to the circuit boards we manufacture and the wash machine cleans the board to remove things like debris and finger prints. Another area an Operator could be placed is within our Conformal Coating area. Here circuit boards are sprayed with a protective coating that protect the circuit boards against moisture, chemicals, dust and extreme temperatures.
