    Summary About the Position:
    This position is with: US ARMY IMCOM JOINT BASE LEWIS-MCCHORD
    • YTC DIRECTORATE OF PUBLIC WORKS OPERATIONS & MAINTENANCE DIVISION BUILDING & GROUND BRANCH YAKIMA TRAINING CTR WA Responsibilities Order supplies and services through government supply channels, regular procurement channels, or credit card procedures.
    Serve as unit or directorate receipt administrator and adds property to hand receipt as required.

    Maintain control of all unit or directorate supplies by evaluating procedures, establishing or revising plans and methods for receipt, storage, issue, inventory, document control, and processing of supplies.

    Operate electric, Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG), or diesel-powered forklift trucks capable of lifting loads weighing 10,000 pounds or less. This position has been designated "Mission Essential".

    In the event of severe weather conditions or other such emergency situations the incumbent is required to report to work or remain at work as scheduled to support mission operations.

    Specialized Experience:

    Have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-06 grade level in the Federal service which includes the following.

    Assist in ordering supplies by completing documents and performing research to find, compare cost and decide which vendor to use.

    Maintain inventory records such as the Property Book of non-expendable property and supply levels to verify the level to decide when supplies need to be ordered and the quality of supplies on hand.

    Assist with inventories to ensure compliance, levels and check for missing equipment or supplies.

    Or Have successfully completed a half year (i.e., 9 semester hours) of graduate level education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as Business, Supply, or Logistics.

Or Have the specialized experience as described in A, but less than one year; and I have some graduate level education as described in B, but less than the required half year. I have computed the percentage of the requirements that I meet, and the total is at least 100% (To compute the percentage, divide your total months of qualifying experience by 12. Then, divide your semester hours of graduate education by 9. Add the two percentages. The total percentage must equal at least 100 percent to qualify.).

    Time in Grade Requirement:
    Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-6)


    Education FOREIGN EDUCATION:

    If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S.

    education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
