    Description
    want DevOps focused candidates. They're really looking for a more cloud infra focused. They need to have experience with networking and infrastructure related items.

    I need someone with experience doing manual server builds in Azure and VMware. Experience with SCCM, joining to AD, openingrequests to other teams to fulfill build tasks, etc . He said these people need to be nuts and bolts type of people.

    Position:
    Azure Engineer

    Contract: 3-6 months to start - possibility of extensions

    Location: 100% remote

    Interview: 2 TEAMS video interviews. 1 with the manager Ben Fenske. Then a 2nd round with DevOps architects.

    Start:
    ASAP. Could start before the holidays if we find someone quick enough. The manager said he needs this person "today"

    MUST HAVE experience working in a production Azure Environment.

    Project:
    They are divesting a business unit and moving all of their stuff into their own tenant.


    Job Requirements/Experience:

    Azure networking:
    Deploy and configure; VNETS, Subnets, NSG's, Route tables, Azure Firewalls, App Gateways, Load balancers

    Secure PaaS resources with Service Endpoints and Private Endpoints

    Work with Log Analytics, NSG Flow Logs and Network Watcher


    Azure Security:
    Deploy and configure WAF policies

    Configure Azure Firewall Rules and NSG rules

    Deploy Azure resources in compliance with Azure Policies

    Configure IAM permissions to Azure resources

    Configure Manage Identities and Service Principals

    Azure AD experience


    PaaS resource deployments:
    Deploy and configure; Storage Accounts, App Services, App Service Plans, App Service Environments, App Insights, Function Apps, Key Vaults, Redis Cache, SQL DB and other approved Azure resources

    Experience deploying resources with PowerShell and CLI

    Configure, modify, deploy ARM templates


    Recovery Services:
    Backup Azure VMs with Recovery Service Vaults

    Configure Azure VMs with Azure Site Recovery

    Experience with Azure Migrate


    Additional Experience:
    Experience working with JSON files

    Experience working with KQL queries
