Responsibilities
- Acknowledge and greets patients, customer, and vendors as they walk into the practice in a friendly and welcoming manner
- Answers telephone inquiries in a professional timely manner Schedules appointments Gathers patients insurance information Verifies enters patient demographics into EMR ensuring all fields are complete Verify vision medical insurance information enter EMR Maintains clear understanding of insurance plans able to communicate insurance information to the patients Pulls schedules ensure eligibility prior patient appointment ensures files complete Prepare prints forms for visits Collect documents charges copays payments update EMR Allocates balances insure needed Always maintains clean workspace Practices economy use materials equipment supplies Performs other duties assigned manager
