    We are a boutique Primary Medical Care Provider Group serving many geriatric and assisted living patients in the area. Patients are the center of the medical universe. Our top of the line staff reflect patient care and attention to detail. Joining our staff means to join a family of medical professionals.


    About the position:


    Who are we looking for?


    Our ideal physician should be detailed oriented, a team player, and have great time management skills. Their aim should be to provide the best care possible, not only going above and beyond for the patient but also have good time management abilities as you will be expected to see several patients each day. They must possess great communication skills since they will be answering questions and explaining care to patients and their families. At our practice, patients are the center of the universe and made to feel that way so our ideal candidate must share the same values and standard of care. Our ideal candidate must be experienced as a physician in nursing home settings. This is M-F 8hr day shifts.


    The assigned facility will be a hospital-like setting with a high patient population. The physician will be administering intensive care and treatment, at times it will be similar to an ICU setting with the goal of preventing hospitalization. The responsibilities of our physician include diagnosing and treating illnesses, referring patients to specialists, and monitoring medication regimens.


    To be a successful physician with Harrison Medical Group, you should demonstrate exceptional communication skills, empathy, good judgment, and decision-making skills.


    Physician Responsibilities:


    - Diagnosing and treating illnesses.

    - Referring patients to specialists.

    - Monitoring the side-effects of medication.

    - Assessing the risks of medications.

    - Paying attention to the mental and physical health of patients.

    - Providing medical and lifestyle advice.


    Physician Requirements:


    - Licensed New York State Physician

    - Experience with geriatrics is a plus

    - Must be compassionate and empathetic

    - Good communication skills

    - Strong critical thinking skills

    - Must be able to manage stress
