    TileDB is looking for a highly organized and results-oriented Event Manager to own and execute on our global events strategy.

    Our events include a balanced mix of horizontal and vertical events, including conference sponsorships, meetups and executive dinners.

    Reporting to the Director of Demand Generation, this role will work closely with our executive team and other go-to-market stakeholders to orchestrate the delivery of first-class, on-brand, and memorable event experiences for our prospects.

    We are a remote first, distributed team with employees in the USA, Europe, and South America. Our headquarters are in Cambridge, MA, USA and we have a subsidiary in Athens, Greece.

    The nature of this role will require some occasional travel to the Company's headquarters in Cambridge, MA, and/or to various event locations.

    Now it is the time to take this channel to the next level; you will be instrumental in elevating our events strategy to new heights of delivery, brand experience and top-of-the-funnel impact.


    In your first 15 days, you will familiarize yourself with the 2024 Events Calendar, past events and existing event processes.

    After 30 days, you are expected to roll-up your sleeves and get your first on the ground action.

    Responsibilities
    Manage a range of first and third party event types including conference sponsorships, meetups and executive dinners
    Execute on and enrich our 2024 Events Calendar, aligning with allocated budget and lead quotas
    Develop the 2025 Events Strategy according to executive goals
    Coordinate logistics and production for events across the USA and Europe
    Research costs for swag, venues, entertainment and supplier management
    Arrange the timely distribution of equipment and promotional merchandise to each event
    Ensure full alignment with cross-functional stakeholders, including marketing teams, sales and delegates
    Ensure compliance with all legal and safety regulations for events
    Work with marketing stakeholders to deliver a consistent on-brand experience
    Requirements
    4+ years of demonstrated success managing, high-impact marketing events, ideally in a high-growth B2B SaaS
    Outstanding communication skills, including strong executive presence
    Previous experience owning quota (leads and/or pipeline)
    Strong organization skills. You have demonstrated ability to build plans, follow budgets, prioritize tasks, create agreement across groups, and stay organized in a demanding environment
    Strong bias for action
    Experience with HubSpot, Zoom, Slack, and a related tech-stack

    Interview Process

    Initial screening call with the hiring manager, covering screening questions, a resume walk-thru and a showcase of your achievements
    Three 45-minute interviews with the marketing, product/vertical leader and a member of the leadership team
