    Sedron Technologies is hiring a talented Senior Mechanical Project Manager

    Sedron Technologies designs and manufactures advanced water, and waste upcycling technologies that transform the paradigm of Waste Processing to Resource Recovery.     Because we design, build, commission, and operate our technologies, we are looking for individuals who can meet the following essential functions of the position:
    • Must be able to take the initiative to develop systems and processes to develop, construct, and close industrial construction projects
    • During the project development phase, supports the project development group by providing a high-level schedule to identify key milestones, provide a high-level budget to identify large expenditures, identifies risks associated with projects
    • During the project design phase, supports the engineering staff by reviewing drawings and specification to support construction, manages engineering and design resources external to Sedron by negotiating terms and managing expectations, reviews documentation to ensure constructability
    • During the project execution phase, identifies and manages mechanical contractors, manage the budgets, manage the mechanical construction schedule, acts as a liaison between the engineering staff and the contractors
    • During the project commissioning phase, inspects the installation and manages the mechanical punch list, manages configuration and testing of mechanical apertures (i.e., breaker trip setting), manages orderly power-up to support the commissioning plan
    • During the project closeout phase, provides contractor final acceptance, ensures as-built data is communicated to the engineering staff, ensures operations and maintenance documents are supplied to site operation and maintenance staff, and provides site maintenance staff training
    • During all phases must demonstrate accountability for project planning, execution, job cost tracking, and job closure
    • Provides monthly budget and schedule status reports
    • Plans ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones
    • Ability to travel to works sites and stay for extended amounts of time to see construction through completion.

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
    • Proven ability to put systems in place and define workflows to create efficient project development, excitation, and closure
    • Proven ability to mentor co-workers to create an enjoyable and productive work environment
    • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering plus 5 years construction project experience
    • 5 years' experience as a Mechanical Foreman or General Foreman on large projects, plus 5 years as a Project Manager may be substituted for educational requirements
    • Superior knowledge of codes and construction methods required
    • Proven experience with power distribution systems, instrumentation installation, and process control and system integration required
    • High level of competency in labor, material, and contract management
    • Proven ability to complete a detailed take-off and all required estimating for electrical projects
    • Minimum requirement for all positions is a high school diploma or GED
    • Must have effective verbal and written communication skills in the English language
    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
    • Wage range for this role is between $130,000-$180,000/annually
    • Discretionary bonus
    • The range provided is Sedron's estimate of the base compensation for this role. Actual amount offered will be based on job-related and non-discriminatory factors such as experience, location, education, training, skills, and abilities.
    Must be a US Citizen or legal permanent resident for this position. We are unable to sponsor any employment visas.
