The qualified candidate will supervise all aspects of the group home operations (i.e., staff supervision, on-call, and spot checks)Job Responsibilities of a Group Home Manager:
Supervise all aspects of the group home.
Plan and conduct staff meetings and trainings.
Conduct interviews and observations, provide feedback, and complete employee evaluations.
Share on-call responsibilities with the group home Assistant Manager.
Uphold agency and licensing regulations.
Responsible for creating staff schedulingAssist with scheduling doctor's appointments.
Responsible for program and client financesAssists and supervises in activities of daily living skillsAdminister or assist with prescribed medication.
Light housekeepingAssist with transportationAssist in the implementation of individual goals and objectives.
Data entry using Therap (EHR)Assist residents in pursuing recreational, social, and community activities based on their preferences and individual plans.
Job Requirements:
HS diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferredExperience as a supervisor and working with people with disabilitiesA valid driver's license in good standing & must be insurable through NJID's automobile insuranceStrong organizational and communication skillsNO certification required

Other shifts are available at this location.
NJID has full-time, part-time, and per diem opportunities in Middlesex, Monmouth, Ocean, and Somerset Counties.
