Join our dynamic construction team as a Deck Builder and bring outdoor living visions to life In this energetic role, you will be responsible for constructing durable, beautiful decks that enhance our clients' homes and outdoor spaces. Your expertise will help transform blueprints into stunning, functional decks, ensuring safety, quality, and craftsmanship at every step. Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately execute deck designs.
  • Measure, cut, assemble, and install deck components using hand tools and power tools with precision.
  • Prepare the construction site by clearing debris, setting foundations, and ensuring proper framing for deck structures.
  • Install railings, stairs, decking boards, and trim carpentry elements to meet safety standards and aesthetic expectations.
  • Coordinate with team members to operate heavy equipment safely during site preparation and material handling.
  • Conduct inspections throughout the project to ensure adherence to building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Utilize construction management software like Bluebeam for project documentation and progress tracking.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in carpentry, framing, or deck building on construction sites.
  • Skilled in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to construction projects.
  • Proficient with hand tools (hammers, saws, drills), power tools (nail guns, saws), and heavy equipment operation.
  • Knowledge of concrete forming, masonry, roofing, stucco application, and hardscape installation is a plus.
  • Familiarity with construction estimating and inspection processes ensures quality work delivery.
  • Experience with plumbing or electrical systems relevant to outdoor structures is advantageous.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety protocols.
