The role of a part-time psychiatrist at Precise Behavioral, Inc.involves providing support onsite at an inpatient psychiatric unit to 10-15 adult patients, evaluation, ensuring mental health treatment, and rounding.
This role is 1-2 weekends per month plus on-call.Qualifications:
Conduct psychiatric evaluations of adult patientsProvide mental health treatment and support to patientsRound on patients at an inpatient psychiatric unitWork both on-site at location in San Bernardino, CA and on-callMaintain knowledge of regulatory requirements in psychiatryPlace/discontinue/extending psychiatric holds as neededUtilize EMR systems specifically CernerCommunicate effectively with patients and colleaguesCollaborate with medical staff leadershipProvide leadership in program developmentConduct initial evaluations and assessments of patientsDevelop personalized treatment plans for each patientMonitor and adjust treatment plans as neededCollaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive careKeep accurate and up-to-date medical recordsPrescribe medications as necessary
