- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for ETL processes and data flows.
- Utilize SQL queries to validate data transformations and ensure data integrity throughout the ETL pipeline.
- Collaborate with ETL developers to communicate defects, missed requirements, and areas for improvement.
- Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and backlog grooming.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into test cases.
- Perform root cause analysis of defects and provide recommendations for resolution.
- Document test results, track defects, and ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance testing, with a focus on ETL and data warehousing.
- Proficiency in advanced SQL for data validation and manipulation.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts, such as star schema architecture, table joins, business keys, temporal tables, and data modeling principles.
- Strong understanding of healthcare data and clinical domain knowledge.
- Experience working in an agile environment and familiarity with agile methodologies and tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Self-motivated work style with the ability to prioritize and execute tasks independently.
- Certification in Quality Assurance or related field.
- Experience with ETL testing tools such as Informatica, Talend, or SSIS.
- Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Power BI.
- Familiarity with healthcare compliance standards such as HIPAA.
- Experience with automated testing tools and methodologies.
- Knowledge of secure file transfer protocol (SFTP) and ETL code deployment
