    Job Description:

    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Analyst to join our agile team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) and data warehousing testing, with a focus on ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of our healthcare data systems. As part of our team, you will play a critical role in validating data transformations, identifying and reporting defects, and ensuring the overall quality of our data processes.

    Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for ETL processes and data flows.
  • Utilize SQL queries to validate data transformations and ensure data integrity throughout the ETL pipeline.
  • Collaborate with ETL developers to communicate defects, missed requirements, and areas for improvement.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and backlog grooming.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into test cases.
  • Perform root cause analysis of defects and provide recommendations for resolution.
  • Document test results, track defects, and ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance testing, with a focus on ETL and data warehousing.
  • Proficiency in advanced SQL for data validation and manipulation.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts, such as star schema architecture, table joins, business keys, temporal tables, and data modeling principles.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare data and clinical domain knowledge.
  • Experience working in an agile environment and familiarity with agile methodologies and tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated work style with the ability to prioritize and execute tasks independently.
  • Experience Preferred:

  • Certification in Quality Assurance or related field.
  • Experience with ETL testing tools such as Informatica, Talend, or SSIS.
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Power BI.
  • Familiarity with healthcare compliance standards such as HIPAA.
  • Experience with automated testing tools and methodologies.
  • Knowledge of secure file transfer protocol (SFTP) and ETL code deployment
