    Registered Nurse - Cardiac Progressive Care Unit - Sign-On Bonus

    Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare (TMH) is a private, nonprofit community-based healthcare system that provides advanced care to a 21-county region in North Florida and South Georgia.

    TMH is the region's healthcare leader and top provider of advanced care with a 772-bed acute care hospital and the region's only:

    • Level II Trauma Center
    • Level III Neonatal Intensive Care
    • Pediatric Intensive Care
    • The most advanced cancer, heart and vascular, orthopedic & surgery programs in the Panhandle

    Our system also includes a psychiatric hospital, multiple specialty care centers, four residency programs and nearly 40 affiliated physician practices.

    The Cardiac Progressive Care Unit is an expansive, inpatient, intermediate unit that provides care for patients undergoing open heart surgery.

    We also care for patients who undergo procedures performed by our Structural Heart Program, such as Transapical Valve Replacement (TAVR), Convergent Maze, Mitraclip and Watchmen.

    Our scope of services includes heart failure, chest pain, life-threatening arrhythmias, myocardial infarctions, device therapy (AICD, Pacemakers), electrophysiology studies and ablations.

    Our highly-skilled team treats an adult population - the scope and complexity of which requires continuous monitoring for arrhythmias, changes in lab values and continuous assessment of status changes.

    Through transformative technology and superior care, our goal is to advance the health and improve the life of the cardiac patient through research-based treatments and interventions.

    • Assumes direct and indirect responsibility for the patient's care environment.
    • Provides care through collaboration with healthcare team members and the autonomous application of the nursing process.
    • Leads, mentors, and role models for other members of the healthcare team.
    • Has responsibilities including (but are not limited to) coordinating and delegating care in a safe, secure, and clean environment.
    • Practices under the Department of Nursing's umbrella and within the scope and conditions of the Florida Nurse Practice Act (Florida Statutes (FS), Title XXXII (Regulation of Professions and Occupations), Chapter 464 (Nursing), Part I).
    • Follows all Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare, Inc. (TMH) policies, procedures, and requirements.
