    JOB SUMMARY The Gerald L.

    Ignace Indian Health Center is recruiting for a full-time licensed behavioral health professional with solid experience in working with adolescents and adults who experience co-occurring mental health and substance abuse disorders.

    This position is a non-supervisory position that will provide direct therapy services through individual, group, couple and family therapy modalities.

    We are looking for a passionate, caring, creative, trauma-informed clinician that utilizes a wide range of therapeutic interventions within their treatment practice.

    The position requires strong crisis assessment and management skills, skilled experience working with trauma, and the ability to work within a multidisciplinary treatment team to provide culturally appropriate approaches to treatment for the Urban Native American community as well as the diverse community surrounding.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Responsible for providing psychotherapy services for trauma, mental health and/or substance abuse services for adults and adolescents within the All-Nations Wellness Center Adult and Adolescent Therapy Clinic.

    Modalities of treatment include individual, group, couple and/or family therapy.

    Responsible for operations within the Department to ensure services are provided in a manner that meets all applicable regulatory licensure and accrediting regulations.

    Responsible for completing mental health assessments and treatment planning. Responsible for assessing client safety and risk to self or others and taking appropriate crisis intervention measures when indicated. Participates in multi-disciplinary clinical staffing meetings and case consultation meetings with the ANWC Behavioral Health Treatment team. Participates in half-day weekly crisis triage with the medical clinic. Consults and refers adults and adolescents for psychological testing. Coordinates with families, community service providers, DV/SA advocates, and case management to maintain continuity of care. Facilitates psychotherapy groups for survivors of domestic and sexual violence. Participates in the therapist after-hours on-call rotational schedules.
