Great opportunity for a General Surgery NP/PA to live and work in the Texarkana, TX area.
~ Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
~ Hospital employed position
~ Must have inpatient, acute care experience
~ No procedures, no first assist
~ Duties are Rounding and Call only
~24 hour call, rotating weekends, 8-9 days a month, will not always be called in
~10 days of scheduled rounding/month
~ Rounding start at 7a and could be 8 hours, or could be over at 1-2 or 2-3, etc depending on need
~15-18 patients per day, will vary
~3 APP's and 5 Physicians in this group
~ Colon resections, gunshot wounds, cancer, appendix, etc
~ Salary plus Quality bonus plus Sign On Bonus - no production bonus
