- Apply coats of paint to decorate and protect interior or exterior surfaces of products.
- Prepare surfaces for painting by removing rust, imperfections, and ensuring proper cleanliness.
- Read work orders or blueprints and follow the sequence of painting tasks under supervision.
- Assist in color changes and basic assembly of products such as Z-legs, logos, and stickers.
- Conduct weekly maintenance of equipment and work area to ensure a safe and efficient environment.
- High School diploma or equivalent (GED accepted).
- Basic math skills and ability to read a measuring tape.
- Ability to measure and mix paint accurately as per work orders.
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods and perform physical tasks including bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Effective communication skills and a strong work ethic.

Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing, is seeking a Painter to join their team. As a Painter, you will be part of the Industrial department supporting production and assembly operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Painter
Location: Clare, MI
Pay Range:
$15.50 an hour to $16.50 an hour depending on shift
Shift:
1st shift - 8 am to 4 pm
2nd shift - 4 pm to 12 am
overtime is scheduled prior to shift time and can be heavy including Saturdays
