    Full time with flexibility. Patient relations position in an outpatient primary care clinic in Lexington, KY.


    This is an opportunity to work in a unique primary care clinic, , that has a small volume of patients.

    This means creating relationships with patients and supporting them through illness, as well as on their path to wellness.

    No prior medical experience is required, as communication skills and ability to build relationships are the most important skills for this position.

    Organizational skills and the ability to work effectively and efficiently are also essential. All staff are expected to operate with kindness and professionalism.

    Our team atmosphere among current staff is strong and we are looking for someone who would want to be a part of that.

    We look out for each other in addition to looking out for the best interest of our patients.

    Work experience in client relations, human resources, teaching, marketing or similar roles would be beneficial. A passion for getting to know people and helping people are essential for the person in this position. A sense of humor and fun-loving spirit would be a bonus


    Responsibilities:
    Educating patients about the model of our practice and signing new patients
    Helping patients navigate the busy, confusing healthcare system
    Scheduling patient visits
    Answering the phone, texting patients, monitoring the phone system
    Requesting medical records
    Scheduling medical tests and specialist visits
    Ordering office supplies, keeping the office organized
    Greeting patients or other visitors when they arrive at the office
    Implementing website updates and creating marketing materials
    Helping create and disperse patient communication (mailers, email newsletter, etc)

    Pay:
    depends on experience and credentials.

    Schedule:
    8:45-2:30/4:30 Monday through Friday.
