    • Pay Range: $ $58.35 hourly + $10/hr float differential
    • Benefits Eligible: Yes
    • Shift Details: Variable
    • Hours: PRN (As Needed)
    • Additional Details: Shift differentials given for evenings, nights and weekends
    System Float Pool is part of Intermountain Health a nonprofit healthcare organization that focuses on person-centered care. Caregivers who join our Float Pool enjoy assignments at locations throughout the Denver area.

    Scope:

    Sonographer responsibilities:

    • Produce high quality ultrasound images and obtain appropriate measurements for each exam.
    • Recognize the sonographic appearance of normal and abnormal tissue structures and provide the best image quality for documentation.
    • Document all applicable patient and procedure data consistently and correctly.
    • Obtain and evaluate pertinent patient history and physical findings that may affect the sonographic examination.
    • Explain procedures adequately to patients to maximize patient comfort and cooperation.
    • Monitor during all phases of procedure with special care taken to insure patient emotional and physical well-being.
    • Communicate patient information in a professional and courteous manner to patients and to referring physician offices as required.


    Requirements:


    • Graduate of an accredited school of Diagnostic Sonography program, required
    • Minimum of one (1) current/valid certification from the following list, required:
    • Registry-eligible
    • American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) certification with Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)
    • Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT), required
    • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) credential
    • Minimum of two (2) years of related sonography experience, required
