- Execute the setup and configuration of accounting rules. Ensure setup is consistent and in line with GAAP and company requirements
- Develop approach to system issues or new system process development which do not result in accounting errors and provide accurate GAAP accounting application.
- Maintain auditable documentation around accounting rule maintenance
- Assist Controllers with issues related to accounting rule execution
- Execute miscellaneous system implementation projects assigned related to all systems utilized by Accounting
- Journal entries
- Reconciliations
- Monitor all transactions and ensure accounting is correct
- Data validation – reconcile sub ledger and general ledger
- Degree in Accounting or Finance is required
- MBA or CPA designation is required
- 5+ years of cost accounting experience required
- Experience assisting with an ERP implementation required
- Blackline or Onestream experience is preferred but not required
- Strong technical accounting experience
