    Description
    Performs general food service functions to ensure quality delivery of food items in a clean, well-stocked environment.

    Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.


    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Performs food preparation tasks, positions various items and other routine functions.
    • Maintains the tray-line, coffee maker, other items and equipment.
    • Stocks food center with the various condiments, lids, cups, silverware, napkins, etc. to ensure adequate supply.
    • Maintains a working knowledge of all therapeutic diets.
    • Serves a population pediatric through geriatric.
    • Abides by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability privacy and security regulations regarding all aspects of Protected Health Information (PHI).

    MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

    • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively.

    PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

    • Knowledge of food service operations.
