Ochsner Health – Transplant Hepatology

Ochsner Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Transplant Hepatologist. The ideal candidate would be BC/BE Gastroenterologist. The Ochsner Transplant Institute has been a leader in liver transplantation for nearly four decades. Since performing Louisiana's first liver transplant in 1984, our expert team has executed over 3,800 liver transplants for both adults and children—making us one of the most experienced programs in the nation. Each year, more than 130 patients undergo a liver transplant at Ochsner Transplant Institute in New Orleans, Louisiana. It has an established record in donation after cardiac death (DCD) transplants and has an active living donor program in adults and children and offers liver transplantation for selected patients with cholangiocarcinoma and unresectable colorectal metastases. Position Highlights:

• Join an experienced team of 7 Hepatologists, 8 surgeons and 5 Advanced Practice Providers under the Ochsner Transplant Institute
• Medical team is supported by GI and Surgical fellows and anew Hepatology fellowship starting in July 2025
