    SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIESThe Systems Administrator will ensure that FirstKey Homes' IT infrastructure is optimized, maintained and secured.

    This role will analyze infrastructure needs, coordinate the implementation of solutions and equipment, monitor systems and networks and troubleshoot matters to ensure performance optimization and security.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIESResponsible for the maintenance and optimization of company Workstations and various infrastructure:
    Responsible for endpoint management and patch management of Workstations: Leverages tools to deploy patches and applications to endpoints: Workstations
    • Endpoint CentralAssess system performance and availability and recommend improvements Use various monitoring, logging and performance tools to verify high system performance and availability within a 24x7 environment.
    N-Able, Endpoint Central, IntuneNote issues with performance & availability and draft proposals for Leadership on steps to rectifyResponsible for managing system images (Golden Images) and troubleshooting imaging system issuesPerform installations, upgrades and configurations of various hardware and software platformsPerform user-level-support in FKH's Azure Virtual Desktop VDI environmentsAssist in supporting Telecom needsEnsure data is handled, transferred, or processed according to legal and company guidelinesProvide escalated support and guidance to IT Support Team when necessaryAssist in developing IT policies and practicesWork with Cybersecurity team to monitor and rectify vulnerabilities (vulnerability management) Qualys, Endpoint Central, Microsoft Azure reportingThis brief summary is not an all-inclusive description of job duties.

    REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent work experience and/or educationUnderstanding of Patch Management for Endpoints and ServersUnderstanding of DR practices, specifically within Azure (Backup, Site Recovery)Experience delivering compliance metrics (% to target)Active Directory
    • Group Policy, AD U&C, DNS, DHCPMinimum 2 years' experience as a Systems Administrator, Desktop Support Engineer or similar roleHigh proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Hands on experience with Windows(10,11, Server2016,2019)/Mac OS environmentsPREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCECertification in Microsoft or similar technologiesExperience working in property management, real estate or similar industryExperience working in fast pace, high growth companyHands on experience in Business Continuity planningHands on experience in application integrations, such as SSODirect experience drafting policies in various IT operational topicsHands on experience in performing migrations, such as moving a workload into AzureExperience in configuring and managing advanced backup platforms (Synology, Veeam, etc.)
