    Description


    Responsibilities Foundations Behavioral Health is currently hiring a full-time Group Therapist to support our Therapeutic Services Department at our Doylestown campus.

    This is an onsite position in Doylestown, PA scheduled for day hours 8:30a - 5p with a weekend (Saturday and Sunday) per month requirement.

    Foundations Behavioral Health provides innovative behavioral health treatment and academic excellence to children, adolescents and young adults.

    Established in 1964, Foundations Behavioral Health provides treatment in a homelike environment located on a 12 acre campus in Bucks County, PA.

    Foundations provides a full continuum of care for children, adolescents, and young adults spanning hospitalization to outpatient and academic services.


    Position Responsibilities:
    Provide therapeutic services to children and adolescents and diagnostic categories utilizing individual, family, and group modalities.

    Perform Biopsychosocial assessments that result in a broad picture of treatment needs, and aid in the development a multidisciplinary treatment plan.

    Work collaboratively with youth and families to effectively address behavioral health needs Identify, provide, and/or arrange for case management services ensuring quality aftercare services.

    Willingness to conduct self with professionalism and demonstrate excellent customer service when interacting with youth, families, outside agencies, and colleagues.

    Qualifications Qualifications Master's Degree in Human Services field from accredited college or university Completion of a supervised clinical experience, preferably as part of the degree program, comprising a minimum of 200 hours.

    Two years' experience with child/adolescent mental health clients in an inpatient or residential setting preferred, but not required.

    Proficient with a computer and the required software programs as applicable to the job functions, including electronic mail, word processing, excel, and various databases Willingness to learn the hospital documentation standards Capable of performing written or typed record keeping and correspondence as it relates to job functions.

    Capable of rapport building with youth and their families to facilitate their engagement in the therapeutic services. Familiarity with generally accepted concepts, techniques and procedures of evaluation and psychotherapeutic treatment.
