    Senior Accountant


    will assist with the preparation of monthly financial statements and the day-to-day financial operations of ADAMA NA, comprised of US & Canadian business units.

    Fundamental Areas of Focus:


    Responsible for performing various general ledger accounting activities including but not limited to journal entries, fixed assets, balance sheet reconciliations, and expense account reviews.

    Administers internal control review & compliance activities to include tracking necessary support and assisting in review of controls in accordance with company & audit requirements.

    Provide support Responsible for ensuring inter-company reconciliation process; helping to are completed and supported with each affiliate quarterly.

    Assist with month-end close for US & Canada business units, including performing account reconciliations, recording standard and non-standard journal entries, etc.

    at the direction of the financial operations leader
    Assist as needed with Accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other finance areas.

    Requirements
    Proficient in ERP systems (SAP).
    Bachelor's degree (accounting) with at least 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
    Experience with various tax filings (Sales & Use, GST, and property) strongly preferred but not required
    Advanced Excel skills.
    CPA license preferred but not required.
