Position Summary:
Responsible for building, configuring, and managing of the clinical and business systems for the hospital.
This role is responsible for ensuring the business and clinical applications are operating efficiently, effectively and supporting the clinical and business needs at the hospital.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Oversees the evaluation, selection, implementation and on-going support of all hospital clinical and business systems, ensuring performance, interoperability, and appropriate investment.
DragEditDeleteOversees the creation and documentation policies and procedures for access and availability, including downtime procedures of all hospital information systems.
DragEditDeleteManages relationships with both local and enterprise vendors for sales, service and support. Reviews all software, service, and system maintenance contracts.DragEditDeleteEnsures that all clinical & business systems operate according to documented standards of LifePoint Health and external regulatory agencies, including Meaningful Use, JCAHO, and HIPAA.DragEditDeleteEnsures clear control and communication of all system changes, and coordinates with Change Management leadership on the plan and execution of those changes.
DragEditDeleteMaximizes staff performance and system expertise through clearly defined objectives, training and skill development, and performance evaluation.DragEditDeleteLeads, monitors, and facilitates new module/application implementation and testing of clinical application software releases and new products.
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum EducationBachelor's degreeMasters degree (Preferred)*Years of relevant experience may be substituted for required education.
